As well as designing slick graphics, I am also adept at social media marketing. Using both marketing and design knowledge together to create social media posts that truly work.
During my time at UnitedKpop (2011-2018), I grew the niche following to a combined 20,000 followers across multiple social media platforms and 30,000 unique monthly website readers.
When the website first launched, there was no existing market for K-pop in the UK. We grew alongside the fledgling market, to what is now a global phenomenon by constantly challenging the way we ran our social media accounts. That meant regularly reviewing analytics and performing tests to see what content performed best for UnitedKpop's audience, and studying social media marketing techniques and trends to take it to the next level.
These days I use those social media marketing skills in my work at DC Thomson, designing social videos for clients to draw in new potential customers. I also run my own small handmade business, which I have grown via social media over the last 3 years to over 500 followers across different platforms and over 350 sales.
Understanding a brand and how to communicate with its audience is my speciality.
This translates into informed design choices and copywriting that push brands to their potential. Understanding the brand and what they want to represent is key in providing the best service, and it is always my goal to create content that aligns with the customer's vision for their brand.
As a social media marketer, I am skilled in identifying and understanding an audience. I have experience using analytic tools and scheduling platforms. I have the ability to plan, design and create effective and on trend content across all of the most popular social media platforms.
